About Salasar Balaji Temple

Miraculous swayambhu shrine of Lord Hanuman featuring a unique beard and mustache idol, renowned for granting profound spiritual protection, courage, and health.

Temple Lore & History

The swayambhu idol of Balaji was found on Shravan Shukla Navami in 1754 by a farmer while ploughing his field in Asota village. Devotee Mohandas Ji Maharaj established the shrine in Salasar, which has since become a prime pilgrimage center.

Spiritual Significance

Known for granting miraculous relief from physical ailments, negative energies, and legal/financial hardships. The sacred Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame) has been continuously burning for over two centuries.

Devotee Visitor Guide

Devotees commonly offer Savamani (Churma prasad) and tie coconuts with moli for wish fulfillment. Comfortable modest clothing is advised.
